The T37 RC Racing Sloop is a fully sanctioned one design class in the American Model Yachting Association (AMYA). It is an ideal club boat, affordable for everyone, fun and easy to build, and perfect for racing. Each boat has a unique personality reflecting the builder’s preference for paint styles and colors.

 

 

 

The decks are almost always varnished and give this RC sailboat a distinctive yacht look that makes sailing the radio control T37 sailboat an exceptional experience, quite different from sailing a radio controlled plastic import from Asia. Some builders even varnish the entire hull with a bright yacht finish.

 

All fittings on this radio controlled model sailboat are solid brass or high grade marine 316 stainless steel. The hull is 1/8 inch mahogany plywood. The sails are genuine nylon spinnaker cloth. This is the same material as is used on full size sailboat spinnakers. All of the full power radio control gear is included in every kit. Everything for building and sailing your boat is included in the kit, except for paint, varnish and AA batteries.

Veneer Deck Kit: $25.00

Strips of Honduras mahogany which can be added to standard deck to embellish the deck for a traditional appearance.




 

 

 

Varnish Kit: $24.50

Three vials of marine varnish, a varnish brush and 220 grit sandpaper. This varnish kit is one possible option for finishing off your T37. Any marine or exterior varnish or paint will work but this is an easy option.

 




 

 

 

Carbon Fiber Mast: $17.50

If your original T37 kit came with the wooden mast you can upgrade to the Carbon Fiber Mast which is now standard with the standard kit. Either mast works well, but for racing, the Carbon Fiber Mast is preferred.




 

 

 

Table Stand: $25.00

A stand for displaying your finished T37 on a table, desk or floor.




 

 

 

Wall Stand: $21.50

A stand to display your finished T37 on the wall of your home.




 

 

 

Lakeside Stand: $45.00

A stable and collapsible stand to use beside the lake, pond, or other body of water where your T37 is sailing. This strong solid wood stand holds the T37 from blowing over while you are rigging for sailing.
